I have a lot of different interests, and have explored many niches throughout my years on social media.

Honestly, I’m kind of done with trying to “niche down”. I like too many things, and I want to share them all. I’m a person, not a niche.

A little bit about me.

I’m a third culture kid: born in Romania, raised in China, now living in Germany. 

I’ve been posting content online since 2015, and my biggest dream is to make a full time income out of it – and maybe help others learn to do the same by sharing my journey.

I have ADHD and anxiety, and I’m a chronic night owl – which is why I’m so passionate about self-employment as an avenue to run my life in a way that’s compatible with my neurospicy brain and doesn’t lead to burnout.

I’m happiest when I’m at the beach or a rock concert. 

Music and art are my sanctuaries. In another life, I wanted to be a professional singer, and I still hope to get back into it one day. As for art and other creative hobbies, it’s a way to recharge and center myself when I’m overwhelmed or have had too much screen time. 

Why the blog?

Writing was my first creative love. I was a weird kid with obscure interests and not a lot of friends, but I was really good at English so I spent my time reading and writing stories and poetry.

“Writer” was probably my first real dream job, after “paleontologist” in kindergarten.

Over time, poetry turned into song lyrics, and writing a book became a daunting idea that felt like it could never happen, so writing took a backseat in my life.

Well, I’d like to pick it up again. A blog seems like a less intimidating place to start, and it’s a great way to share thoughts and ideas without being at the mercy of some social media algorithm.

Besides, I like the thought of having a little corner of the internet that’s all my own.
